Silver plate trays are pieces I find at the thrift store, once given as a gift for a wedding or important event, then cast off. I saw them with a jewelers saw, and use a torch to apply a rich "fire patina". Many more steps are involved, and only I know when to stop, or add to. The end result is beautiful jewelry, and be warned, when you wear this jewelry, strangers will stop you in the street!
